Ghana’s leading beverage company, Vitamilk Ghana has as a positive way of contributing their quota to help minimise the adverse damages of the Covid 19 pandemic in the country, embarked on a short project to help kids go back to school.
The project ‘Vitamilk Champ Back To School’ provided an opportunity for kids between the ages of five and fourteen all over Ghana to have their first term school fees paid in full by participating in this new and exciting promo.
Over sixty entries were made as kids between the specified ages provided recorded videos of themselves explaining why Vitamilk Champ is their favourite beverage, why they’d recommend it to their friends, and further giving a little more details about their backgrounds including the individual schools they each attend and it’s location.
The initiative which profoundly served its purpose of helping parents be able to afford first term fees for their wards and kids also having an easier time settling after going back to school following the long break effected by the lockdown due to health threats of the Covid 19 last year, saw three kids out of all those who initially entered the challenge win various amounts of money.
Desiree Owusu, a ten year old student emerged as the winner and took home a whooping amount of GHC900. She was followed by the second runner up Victor Success Junior, a nine year old boy and student of High Grade Montessori School who in addition took home an amount of GHC650. Last but not least was third runner up Chloe Wirenkyi, a student of Top Class Education Centre and a recipient of a cool GHC610.
Strictly observing and insisting on the adherence of all Covid 19 protocols, Vitamilk Ghana as part of the awards ceremony which took place at the Vitamilk Ghana offices last Sunday, the 31st of January from 2-4pm saw twenty participants receive boxes of Vitamilk Champ as well as pencil cases to help boost their immune systems and help in classroom activities respectively.
