February is here, which means love is in the air. We love the notion of love, love is what fuels almost everything and our ultimate purpose in life is to love others. Every year in February, people honour their love for each other by spending time together, sending gifts and sharing Valentine’s message of love. The custom of showing love and warmth goes far beyond the courtly love of Chaucer’s time.
As a season of love, the contest labelled ‘Vitamilk Lovers Rock’ (Two is better than one); was opened to all Vitamilk lovers by which couples, partners, siblings, work colleagues or lovers were to take a picture of themselves enjoying any of the Vitamilk variants and post it on Facebook or Instagram. Participants of this sensational contest stood the chance of winning cash prizes, jumbo hampers and boxes of Vitamilk which were to be delivered to their homes
We live in an environment where people love to exhibit their partners on social media, thus this contest brought in 40 challengers. Most of the entries met the criteria of the contest whereby photos of participants were in a form of a storytelling and of unique lighting and colour. Based on content, visual creativity and skills, the best two photos were selected as winners. Emmanuel Nyarko and Ivie Amponsah came out as first placed winners of the Vitamilk Lovers Rock contest, securing a cash prize of GhC1,000, a jumbo hamper and five boxes of Vitamilk. Coming next was Prince Essandoh and Dorcas Essuon who were the second-placed winners of the contest, securing a cash price of GhC500, a jumbo hamper and three boxes of Vitamilk.
Per the terms and assurances of the contest, the Vitamilk Ghana team, visited the two winners at their respective place of residence in Accra to present their prizes to them. The first place of visit was Bubuashie-Accra where the second-placed winners, Prince Essandoh and Dorcas Essuon reside. The pair expressed their satisfaction about coming up second in such a fascinating contest in the view that, there were equally great photos on board the contest. The Vitamilk Ghana team’s next point of visit was to the first-placed duo’s residence, Emmanuel Nyarko and Ivie Amponsah in Dansonman-Accra. The duo couldn’t hide their bliss; thusly they expressed their gratitude to Vitamilk Ghana for executing their assurances.
One of Vitamilk’s goals is to put smiles on the faces of its customers. This undeniably is one of the avenues to achieve this goal. Vitamilk Ghana looks forward in having a bigger and more exciting ‘Lovers Rock’ in the coming years.
